Make a huge impact on our schools by being part of the Sponsorship team. The main task of the Sponsorship Committee is to solicit funds from the community to sponsor our yearly events that support our schools. Our Sponsorship Campaign is a two-pronged effort. First to secure partners in the business community and then to seek the support of our families and friends. Committee members will be asked to directly solicit funds where they are comfortable. Committee members can also assist by making introductions for solicitors, creating and delivering thank you's and other stewardship tasks.

Play an important part of our fundraising efforts by helping to gather items and create fun prize packages for our auction. A key piece of being part of this committee is to help solicit prizes for the auction. Committee members can also help by picking up items, wrapping prize baskets and setting up the auction on the morning of our annual events.

Work hands-on with students to create a one of a kind work of art that will be a focal point of our auction. Unique pieces are created for each grade Pre-K through 4, which will be sold at auction to one lucky family. Middle school students create a group piece, which will be underwritten by families and will hang at Markham Place School. This is a great committee for creative people who enjoy being hands-on with our kids.

Be part of the team that puts on the fabulous finishing touches and makes our event special and extra beautiful. The Decor Committee will work closely with the Marketing Committee taking the theme for annual events and incorporating it into the event decorations. Committee members will help create decorations for the event and aid in "day-of" set up.

Create and organize signage and marketing pieces throughout the year to bring the EFLS to our community. Graphic design experience is a plus to create materials, but we are also seeking organized individuals to assist with the production of the pieces.

Be a party planner! Serve an important role in creating a terrific event for our community. The Golf Committee acts as a liaison between the trustees and the Golf Event. Golf Committee members will also assist in helping to plan the extra touches for the event such as food, photographer, and set-up. The Golf Committee should plan to be on-site to assist with set-up the morning of the event.

Gather information. Write and send our Mailchimp newsletter several times per year. 

Each year the EFLS calls for grant applications from the district and other community partners to enrich the education of our children.  The Grants Committee compiles these submissions and prepares them for review by the EFLS Trustees.  Experience with spreadsheets is helpful. 

Help plan and bring to life our annual day of "powering off" in the Spring. The PowerOff Committee plans and supports activities that encourage the community to spend less time plugged into their devices.

Kick the year off right by helping the EFLS secure a new round of volunteers for the year's events. Welcome Week kicks off our campaign for the year with a week's worth of events where we talk to the community about the EFLS and sign up volunteers for our committees. The events associated with this committee take place in early Fall.
